This is definitely a worn motor. But that is what is expected on a 180k motor. You can do a number of things that will help you out getting more power and overall satisfaction with your build. Deleting all of stuff will help out in the long run. EGR, CC, AIV, Water Lines, and so on. Also if you are going to be doing a motor refresh I would suggest getting a new timing belt, pulleys, and water and oil pumps. Also you might need to rebuild your lifters and/or buy new ones. Also, rebuild your turbos or get a new set. This will eliminate HUGE aggravation in the long run. Buy a gasket kit to get all new gaskets on your TB, oil tree, water and oil pumps, cam seals, front and rear main seals, and so on. This will help you out as well. Make sure you have a couple of tools when doing this build that will save you headaches as well. 1. Metric Allen set. 2. Deep well metric sockets 3. long skinny pliers to take the clamps off of the water pipes 4. picks to take off electrical connections. 5. Zip lock bags that you can write Black Sharpe on for your bolts 6. AIR TOOLS!!!! most important thing you can have. Trust me taken those exhaust bolts off is a pain in the buttskiis without an impact wrench. Hope this helps.
